2013 Nice - Despite withdrawal Tomas Berdych made a special appearance on the Cote d'Azur, France

Tomas cited rest ahead of the French Open next week as the reason for his decision not to play in Nice and that he was very sorry for the fans. He hopes to play next year in 2014.
Tomas is hoping the extra week of rest will refresh him ahead of Roland Garros
