BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: The Czech team of Radek Stepanek and Tomas Berdych know they face a tough task to upset Argentina at home this weekend but believe they can do it.
The two players enter the tie on the back of strong performances at the US Open - Berdych reached the semifinals in the singles while Stepanek finished as runner-up in the doubles - but don't think their packed schedule or the change of surface will be a factor.
Czech captain Jaroslav Navratil knows his team have a winning head-to-head record against their World Group semifinal opponents but is well aware that this counts for nothing and a big weekend of Davis Cup action awaits both teams.
The Argentine team are excited ahead of their home clash where they know the home crowd will produce an excellent atmosphere.
Juan Martin del Potro believes his wrist is in good shape ahead of his singles matches and Juan Monaco is confident after having more time to practise on clay after his early exit at the US Open.
